AMOI x Velove
After a fantastic year together with AMOI, our rider Mirren has already managed to cycle 7,000+ km with a load full of perfect pralines, fine fish, delicate delicacies and good cheese to happy Stockholmers during her many AMOI routes. The delivery takes place on the same day, and the focus for both of us is of course on reducing climate emissions, congestion and noise with the help of cargo bike delivery in our cities.
Four quick questions for Jonna Kloow, Chief Operating Officer at AMOI:
What made you take the step to collaborate with Velove?
We made the decision to partner with Velove partly because of the bike as a product - a bike with a box big enough to meet our needs, and partly because Velove is an environmentally friendly option, a key factor that appealed to us.
What advantages do you think there are for you as a company and for the urban environment?
In addition to offering a good bike, Velove also strives to offer a high level of service which is crucial for a company like AMOI. Velove's riders are out and about meeting our store partners and customers on a daily basis and they are greatly appreciated by all parties involved.
What advantages do you see in changing from a van to a cargo bike?
We see several advantages of bicycle vs. van, but it is above all in a key step in our core business where we see great advantages: picking up goods from stores in the inner city. Using bicycles allows us to get around faster because we are not affected by parking problems and traffic jams in the same way.
What do your customers think of you delivering by bicycle?
Our customers really appreciate that we have chosen bicycle deliveries. They see it as proof that we take responsibility and do what we can to reduce our climate impact. In addition, our riders from Velove are super nice and contribute to a good customer experience.
